One of the most important things to consider when deciding what to wear at Universal Studios is the weather. Singapore is a tropical country, so it’s important to dress accordingly! Shorts and t-shirts are always a good choice, but if you’re visiting during the rainy season , it’s a good idea to bring along a waterproof raincoat, much better if it is foldable.

Personally, we love wearing Universal inspired t-shirts including references to Harry Potter, Jurrassic Park and Dr Suess. There are also water fountains throughout the park where you can drink from. As such it’s incredibly important to ensure that you’re in comfortable, supportive footwear. If you’re visiting Universal Studios outside of the summer months then you may want to consider adding a jacket or cardigan to your outfit to help keep you warm .
However, we recommend wearing a watch or keeping your phone easily accessible so that you can keep track of time while at the park. If you don’t enjoy wearing shorts or a skirt, or are simply visiting the Universal parks during the winter months then consider trousers or leggings as an alternative. Yes, Universal Studios does allow you to bring a backpack. However, we recommend packing light so that you can easily carry your backpack with you throughout the day.
